The Academic

As an academic Robert Kaplan has focused his research primarily on two core areas. ABC (Activity Based Costing) and the Balanced Scorecard. For over the last 20 years he has served as the as a member of the faculty at Harvard Business School which is complimented by successful results at the Graduate School of Industrial Administration (GSIA) and Carnegie-Mellon University.

Earning himself a B.S and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and MIT, and a Ph.D in operations research from Cornell and awarded an Honorary doctorate from the University of Stuttgart. Kaplan is truly the authority on business strategy.
