Sebastian Coe
Sebastian Coe set 12 world records and won Olympic gold medals at 1500m in both Moscow and Los Angeles. He then became a Conservative MP and Private Secretary to William Hague. Having built a close relationship with the IOC, he is now Chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG). He also acts as global advisor to Nike, and operates a string of Seb Coe Health Clubs. He retired in 1990 and was an MP for Falmouth and Cambourne from 1992 to 1997. Other posts included Vice Chairmanship for the Sports Council Board, membership of the Health Education Council, and Chair of The Sports Council's Olympic Review. He has written five books on a variety of subjects and is an experienced broadcaster and public speaker.
